So one of my favorite 3d-animators are bif (not to be mixed with also great studio buf): http://www.bif-pictures.com/
their graduation movie at supinfocom is one of the best 3d-animations ever, imho and got them directly to the mill.co.uk. I really like the minimal nearly animatic-like style combinded with great animation and music. also the storyline is quite nice:
